The agreement

These terms govern use of CyberRisk Protection, operated by CyberRisk Protection Ltd. Creating an account accepts them on behalf of the organisation named at signup.

What the service does, and does not, promise

The service assists with identifying, assessing, and tracking cyber risk. It does not guarantee that every vulnerability will be found, that a prioritisation is correct, or that following its recommendations will prevent an incident. Its outputs are an input to professional judgement, not a replacement for it.

Financial and compliance figures are models built from the inputs supplied by the customer. They are not an actuarial valuation, a warranty of regulatory compliance, or advice on insurance.

Your responsibilities

• Keep credentials confidential and tell us promptly if they are compromised.
• Scan only systems you are authorised to scan. Using the discovery features against anything else is a breach of these terms and may be a criminal offence.
• Do not upload material you have no right to upload.
• Ensure that people whose personal data you place in the service have been told about it.

Fees

Fees are as shown on the pricing page at the time of subscription, exclusive of tax. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; cancelling takes effect at the end of the paid period, and the period already paid for is not refunded.

Availability

We aim for continuous availability but do not currently offer a contractual uptime commitment. Where an Enterprise or Custom agreement includes one, it takes precedence over this paragraph.

Liability

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, liability is capped at the fees paid in the twelve months preceding the claim.
